Mother Nature

I had an experience that I wanted to share. Last week was not my week. You know when one thing happens and it seems like it started a rock slide of everything going wrong. Me being me, I wasn't going to let it get me down, but it was hard. It hurts when the very things you like about yourself are turned around on you and seen as a bad thing. Then it seems everyone is against you. I even let stupid little things get to me. Like the fact that the boys didn't come over for sleepover night bug me. Which was in my rational mind completely fine because I got Joe two weeks ago, but in this fog I let it turn into some kind of conspiracy. So I did what people aways do when depression hits, "No body likes me, Everyone hates me, might as well go out in the garden and eat worms."
Then on Saturday morning I was woken up by a thunder storm. Stubby and I went to my front door to watch. Right over my house was a big black rain cloud, but the sun was still able to shine just over the mountain onto my house. Then it started to rain really big drops. With the sun shining through them made it look like thousands of little diamonds falling from the sky. It made me appreciate how beautiful the elements can be when they come together. It wasn't the same as seeing a rainbow, but that this was beautiful in it's own way. Like me. I am a strong, independent, optimistic person that has a mind of my own. I like who I am and wouldn't change a thing.
Now maybe because of these things people think they can say and do what ever they want to me because it won't hurt me, but that's not the case. I have feelings that get hurt just as easily as anyone else. I know so many people that have problems of their own. Why add to their sadness. So I try to be the sunshine in their life not the rain cloud.

Stubbys Birthday

Yesturday was Stubbys 5th birthday. He is no longer a baby. Sean can't call him "Dummie" anymore. He kept acting like he knew it was a special day for him. Everything had to be his way, he wouldn't come in when he was called, he kept asking for treats even though he only gets them once a day, and he just kept being a brat by harrassing the girls. Oh, well.

3 Surprising or random facts about me
1. Sometimes I feel like two very different people, Joey pointed it out, I like very girly things like jewelry and flowers but then I also have a dark rocker side to me as well that likes boy things, I don't like chickflicks.
2. I like to ride my 4-wheeler in the mud and get completely caked just to come home and clean it. I really like to clean when you can tell a diffrence.
3. I am OCD. I can't stand to have lines coming straight at me, I can't leave things on odd numbers, ie. the volume on the TV. I have to have things clean. A new one I figured out is I can't have the mouse on the computer on anything that is moving it makes me very anxious.

update

Clint and I are doing great. We have been working in our yard alot the last couple of weeks and have got a ton of stuff done. The people that lived here before us did absolutly nothing with the yard, so there were lots of weeds to pull which left big bald spots in the lawn we had to re-convince it to grow. I have only one little lonely tree in the front yard that is aobut 3 feet tall and was about to die. It now has six new leaves growing. Yea!!! I will be going rock hunting tomorrow with Tony to mark off some of the front yard into a garden so I can have flowers. Clint has been getting the sprinkler system up and running. It wouldn't so hard if I would stop mowing them over. :( He is still loving his job at Lehi Roller Mills, although this week he has had to train a new driver because the other one flipped out at the boss and got fired. Things are good at the doc's place too. Just same ole, same ole. My practice is coming along great. I have decided to name it Nervana Masssge Therapy, massage for your physical and mental nerves. I know cheesy, but I like it. Stubby and Black Stuff were both beat up by the same cat and both got a very serious absess infection. They are better now. The turtles can't wait until we get our fence in so they can wonder around the yard. Well that's all for now. -Jen.
